DUST CONTROL UPDATE / ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE EL CONTROL DE POLVO
Kern County Swap Meet is working with VSS Emultech to explore a long-term dust control solution for our property, covering nearly 1,000,000 square feet (approximately 23 acres).
TESTING / PRUEBA
Our first step will be a test application in Preferred Parking. This area will be temporarily closed during the application weekend to allow the product to dry and cure properly.
The test was originally planned for next Thursday, but rain in the forecast means we must postpone it. The product needs dry conditions during the curing process.
WHAT'S NEXT? / ¿QUÉ SIGUE?
Once the test area has cured, we'll reopen Preferred Parking and evaluate how well the surface holds up under normal vehicle traffic the following weekend.
LONG-TERM GOAL / OBJETIVO A LARGO PLAZO
We've been advised that the treatment could last approximately three years. If testing is successful, we hope to move forward with a larger application throughout the property.
