You'll find a wide variety of merchandise including clothing, tools, household goods, collectibles, electronics, produce, toys, food, handmade items, and much more.
Are pets allowed?
Service animals are welcome. Please check current fairgrounds policies regarding pets before visiting.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available at the Kern County Fairgrounds Union Ave Parking Lots. See OUR LOCATION page for more info.
Do vendors accept credit cards?
Some vendors accept credit and debit cards, while others may only accept cash. We recommend bringing multiple payment options.
Are food vendors available?
Yes! We have a variety of food vendors offering snacks, drinks, and meals throughout the market.
What happens if it rains?

How do I become a vendor?
Vendors can register in person during operating days or contact us through our contact us through or CONTACT page for additional information.
Do I need a Seller's Permit?
Yes. California law generally requires vendors selling taxable merchandise to possess a valid California Seller's Permit. Other permits may be required depending of the product/s or service/s you offer. *See office for additional details.
What are your space rental rates?
Vendor space rates vary by day and location. Please visit our VENDOR INFO page or contact us for current pricing.
What size are vendor spaces?
Standard vendor spaces are approximately 20' x 20'.
Can I reserve the same space every week?
Yes. Reserved vendor spaces are available and provide priority placement and consistency from week to week. *See office for additional details.
What items am I not allowed to sell?
Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal laws. Counterfeit merchandise, illegal items, and prohibited products are not permitted. Other rules may apply. *See office for additional details.
Is electricity available?
No. Electrical service is not available. Quiet generators are allowed. (Example: Honda Whisper) *See office for additional details.
Can I leave my merchandise overnight?
No. Vendors are responsible for removing their merchandise and securing their spaces at the end of each event unless otherwise authorized. *See office for additional details.
What time should vendors arrive?
Vendors should arrive early enough to complete setup before the market opens to the public. Please visit our VENDOR INFO page for more details.
How do I pay for my vendor space?
Vendor space fees are paid in person at the Swap Meet on the day you operate. Cash is the current form of payment accepted.
